3:10 to Yuma Movie still Photoshop study

Having decided to do a western theme for the Bloodsports 9 challenge I knew I needed to do some western content study.  I did this one as it had both horses and western characters.  Both part thing I wanted to include.  This took about 4 hours.  I used just 3 different brushes. By the way this movie was a remake and one of the rare occasions when the remake was as least as good or  better than the original.

Bloodsports 9

I am not going to drop out at this point so On we go to Bloodsports 9.  Of the options offered I am going to keep with the characters primarily to get practice drawing and rendering human form.  So a toss up between Jude Law or Talahassee James.  I went with Jude Law.  As all of the options had a western vibe about them I went with a Western Jude Law.

Comps for Bloodsports 8
This is a summary of the work done to prepare composition.  I pretty much threw out the first couple straight away (back turned) and went with the Rembrandt composition .  I also tried to keep the same colour pallet.

Face study-after Rembrandt

After Rembrandt - Photoshop study
after rembrandt
