Changed things up a bit and designed these animal characters.  Hoping to practice a different style and trying to stretch a few design muscles.  
The interior is a study from photo reference.  I Liked it because it was a little bit moody and had a few interesting textures and edges.  
The last batch are all practice from photo reference.

 This one looked to have potential back in the sketch phase so I spent some time working on it in greyscale then added colour.

The suit is a continuation of the work from last week.  Just playing around with ideas.  The interior study is from a photograph.  I did it after looking at a breakdown of an interior by Kayurova  on Artstation.

Suits Variations

 Spent this week working on technique.  Looking at some different approaches to get a cleaner finish and setting a work flow up to allow easy editing.  Also looking at material rendering and to that end did this study of a hockey goalie pad from photo reference.

Got to spend more time than usual on this one.  Was toying with joining the artstation challenge beyond human in the environment category but was too late to to get the required 2 submissions ready in time.

I was watching on of Bjorn Hurris 30 minute warm ups on Twitch and he showed a trick he uses to draw tubing easily using the stroke effects layer.  I was playing around with it and then started overlaying the effect and thought it looks a lot like etching.  I made this little guy using it.
