Trying to get some more practice rendering and refining.  Being somewhat short on available time is not helping progress with this.  I was working in one to two  hour bursts so being looking at this dude for about 2 weeks.

Was ill early last week and in my fevered state did some doodles.

As promised after the last study I went ahead and tried to apply some of what I learned.  Changed up the lighting big time.  Anyway pushed everything as far as I could.  Sketched it out in grey scale then dropped in the colour.  You can see it drifted somewhat from the early sketch.
