This one  started out as a quick doodle and looked interesting enough to develop further.  Still like that initial sketch.

The last of the series of skull studies.  Did this one at the weekend so I took some more time rendering it.  Spending time doing these studies also means you have time to think on the subject matter.  This also reminded me of a video I saw recently of  sculpting the aging process.

There were a few mentoring classes run on crimson Daggers a while back.  I did not try any of them at the time.  The resources are all still available.  I thought I would try and follow the mentoring class run by Suzanne Helmigh.  I did watch some of the classes live and it seemed like a well structure program so why not.  The first class required some skull studies.  Here is the first.
