There were a few mentoring classes run on crimson Daggers a while back.  I did not try any of them at the time.  The resources are all still available.  I thought I would try and follow the mentoring class run by Suzanne Helmigh.  I did watch some of the classes live and it seemed like a well structure program so why not.  The first class required some skull studies.  Here is the first.

Haven't done a sketch of these guys in a while.  Being dog sitting for the past few weeks.  Should really try sketching them in motion next.

Started out as a doodle and I kept going with it to get some practice with the rendering.  Composition could have been better.

Portrait Tips

Came across this video a short while back.  It talks about taking good photographic portraiture but the principles hold true for any portrait work. The critiques are great.  Joe McNallys site is here.
